Before I started my consultancy business, I worked as Director of Marketing and Communications at the Jacksonville Philharmonic Orchestra. My task was to transform a PR-department into a marketing and communications department and to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy. In addition, I managed and co-performed various projects, including but not limited to a new corporate identity, an external consumer magazine, annual campaign for selling subscriptions to patrons, and direct marketing activities.
I also worked at the Florida Institute for Management Education where I created and managed a marketing and public relations department. I initiated and maintained new client relationships, developed and implemented direct marketing plans, developed and executed the advertising strategy, organized seminars, and represented the Institute at educational exhibitions.
I volunteered for several non-profit organizations in Florida. I helped On the Boards, a contemporary theater in Jacksonville, by researching the brand perception among their patrons and by making recommendations to strengthen and revamp the brand. Since April 2007, I proudly serve on the Board of Directors of On the Boards.
